RIP MCA

Band of the Week: Grouplove

Grouplove is a band that is only about two years old and only have one album, Never Trust a Happy Song. However, this album is brilliant, producing some of their best tracks, such as Itchin' on a Photograph, Tongue Tied, Lovely Cup, Slow, and the song featured in the video below, Colours. I saw them live back in March when they opened for Young the Giant. Both bands put on a great show, and if you get the chance, you should definitely get tickets.

Its the Colours You Have
No Need To Be Sad
It Really Ain't That Bad

New Album Alert: Various Cruelties' Debut Album Released Today

Do we fade out, or burn like the sun,
Do we let it or go or hold on,
Do we see this through together as one,
Do we go it alone into the great unknown?

Sometimes I Want To Disappear

Band of the Week: The Features

The Features are a band from Tennessee who have released three LP's since their formation in 1994. These albums include: Exhibit A, Some Kind of Salvation, and Wilderness, which was released last July. While most of their tracks are pretty ace, some of their best tracks include How it Starts, The Idea of Growing Old,  Foundation's Cracked, Wooden Heart, and the song featured in the video below, Lions.

Let's Stick Together
Let's Follow Our Hearts
Not Even Lions
