The Features are a band from Tennessee who have released three LP's since their formation in 1994. These albums include: Exhibit A, Some Kind of Salvation, and Wilderness, which was released last July. While most of their tracks are pretty ace, some of their best tracks include How it Starts, The Idea of Growing Old, Foundation's Cracked, Wooden Heart, and the song featured in the video below, Lions.
The National are a band from Cincinnati, Ohio who have released 5 albums: The National, Sad Songs for Dirty Lovers, Alligator, Boxer, and High Violet. Some of their best tracks include Bloodbuzz Ohio, England, Anyone's Ghost, and Mistaken for Strangers, which is the song featured in the video below. The band have debuted a few new songs in recent performances, including two new songs entitled Rylan and I Need My Girl. However, the band have got no idea when they will release a new album.

I have not posted anything on this site in about 2 months. No worries however, because from here on out this site will be updated regularly. Anyway, this week's Band of the Week is Young the Giant. I saw them perform last month at the Electric Factory. Grouplove opened for them and both bands put on a great show. Young the Giant also announced that their second album would be coming out in the spring of next year. They performed a few new songs at the gig, including one song entitled "Camera". If the rest of the songs are as good as the new songs performed at the gig, we can expect an album that is just as good as their first album, the self titled LP "Young the Giant". Young the Giant ended their performance with the song below, "My Body".
